Historic Scotland Audio Guide Evaluation

Closed 5 Jul 2020

Opened 24 Jun 2020

Overview

All the staffed sites cared for by Historic Environment Scotland (HES) have been closed during the COVID-19 restrictions. During this time, we have worked with our audio-guide provider Antenna International to make audio guides of some of our top historic attractions freely available to you on our website. You were given options to download the audio guide or a large print audio guide script.

These guided you through some of our top historic attractions: Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle, Doune Castle, Fort George, Glasgow Cathedral, Iona Abbey, Jarlshof, Jedburgh Abbey, Melrose Abbey, Smailholm Tower and St Andrews Castle.

Why We Are Consulting

We would love to hear your feedback on our online audio guides. This will help us understand your experience of using these in the comfort of your own home.

We would love to hear your desire for audio guides at our historic attractions. This will help us design interpretation for when our historic attractions re-open to the public following the COVID-19 crisis.

Your data you provide will be used to inform the work of our Interpretation Unit. We thank you for taking the time to complete this short survey.
